The buzz about mybloglog

As MyBlogLog itself proclaims, “MyBlogLog is launching this new Communities service to empower authors and readers to operate at the same level.” The purpose of MyBlogLog is to provide a community for readers of the same blog. Instead of being limited to interacting with only the author of the blog (and very limited interaction with other readers through comments), MyBlogLog allows readers to interact directly with each other. MyBlogLog is an interesting concept that is expanding. As the web site continues to grow, it should also become a quality way to drive new visitors to your blog.

As Shoemoney predicted, Yahoo purchased MyBlogLog on January 9th. According to several sources familiar with the deal, Yahoo paid between ten million and twelve million for the social blogging community. According to the guys that created MyBlogLog, Yahoo’s acquisition of the web site means that it is going to pour in a ton of resources, which means that they will be able to roll out a lot of new features. Additionally, they are moving the site to Yahoo’s infrastructure, which means that the occasional slowdown will be completely removed.

Although Yahoo now owns MyBlogLog, they are not going to completely absorb the web site. Instead, they are planning to keep it a separate entity. However, you will be able to register with your Yahoo ID, and the MyBlogLog communities will be integrated with Flickr and Yahoo Answers.

Seo - where to find hot niche keywords

If you're interested in creating "niche sites" and want to see the top ten lists and top 50 lists that describe what people are interested in on the Internet check out these helpful web tools online. It is also possible to buy lists off the Internet.

Lycos 50 Daily Report: This site gives you the top 50 search terms as well as the top 50 sites that are being viewed for a 24 hour period This may give you some inspiration as to what types of sites and keywords might attract buyers in the future. One caveat is that the keyword or topic that is most popular today is not necessarily the most popular one for tomorrow. Using your gut instincts and marketing savvy is still necessary to determine the next big thing.

MetaCrawler: - This site gives you the top searched sites in both a filtered (family friendly) and filtered modes. These show you what searches are happening in real time so you can pick up on hot and popular trends. Like the Lycos 50 site you need to be a good predictor of trends once you know the present trends.

These keyword sites can help you decide what is hot, not only in terms of products but also in terms of creating an informational site. Many Internet marketers build entire sites around one popular key word. Remember that you want to use the keywords that are used the most often by web users to determine the nature of an informational product or a new site but you don’t want to necessarily use them as your keywords in your copy. The number of times a term is searched in a month is defined as keyword popularity and a word that is too popular in terms of copy is not good for business as it brings traffic but not necessarily buyers to your site.

Make money with information ebook products the other end

I don't like thinking of myself as the kind of person that has made it rich on the internet, but in some ways I am. I started out like most people, signing up for affiliate programs and promoting OTHER people's products. I'd make some money, nothing big. I couldn't help but think what it must be like for the people on the other end. I mean, think about it. They sell their item directly and then you do the work for them which rake in more sales. I wanted to be on that end of the market. So I decided to start my own website selling information products which I purchased from vendors. Let me tell you, resale rights are expensive.

I tried those stupid eBay e-books that offer resell rights but they offer them for a reason. Because they are hard to sell and usually won't make that much money. So after years of trying different products, I finally found one that works. It was a product featured at subliminalblackbook. org. I took it at the advice of a fellow work-at-homer. I figured great, another e-book with resell rights. My friend told me to try and if I didn't make 10 sales, he would pay for it. What did I have to lose?

Three months later I am now making about $100 a day selling the same product. Here are some tips. First, buy a product that sells. The one I purchased at subliminalblackbook. org was an amazing find. You can try that or another product. Just make sure it can convert. Next get a domain name that contains your product keyword in the URL. Now submit to search engines. Use SEO (Search Engine Optimization) tips. Keep your keywords in your content. Write a great web copy and make sure you explain to visitors your BENEFITS not FEATURES. Example, an ROI (Return on Investment) calculator is a feature, the benefit is that it will save the consumer time and money. Keep our site professional and offer an email or phone number for help always.

Follow these tips and you should be getting traffic and conversions in no time. Let me know about your progress by contacting me.

Amateur satellite radio

When OSCAR was launched into space on December 12, 1961, the opportunity for amateur satellite radio transmissions from space was achieved. The satellite belongs to the Radio Amateur Satellite Corporation which is an organization that is centered on educating the world about things that occur in space and the technology behind the satellite transmission unit's capabilities.

Many people had already been using amateur radio signals to talk to each other on Earth, but with the addition of radio frequencies from the high altitude offered by Space, the ability to communicate was easier and the quality of the transmissions were greatly enhanced. The network of amateur satellite radio enthusiasts are involved in developing communications technologies and in contributing to the research associated with outer space.

The Radio Amateur Satellite Corporation uses the time and efforts of volunteers who are devoted to developing amateur satellite radio technologies to report any observations that they have that come from space exploration. All of the hardware and software that is used in the amateur satellite radio network were created by volunteers.

The amateur satellite radio network provides a necessary service to the United States military through the radio centers when Navy ships are at sea. The American Red Cross uses the free services of Amateur Satellite Radio transmissions to deliver health and comfort messages to crewmembers, and the vessels are kept appraised of weather conditions through the weather satellites advisory messages that are transmitted through the amateur satellite radio network.

Unlike their satellite radio counterparts, the Amateur satellite radio network relies on the generosity of strangers to perform its mission of educating the world about space and the technology used to study anything related to space. The donated resources may come from any location in the world, and when help is needed, the people of the amateur satellite radio are more than willing to devote some time into figuring out a solution to a problem that deals with Space.

The first amateur radio satellite was placed in the Smithsonian to allow people to view the advancements of space technology firsthand. The satellites that are launched into space today for the amateur satellite radio network are by far, the most technologically advanced pieces of machinery in space today.

The amateur satellite radio satellite is capable of transmitting signals from space, and the amateur satellite radio transmitter will usually track objects and send scientific data back in the form of photographs. The latest mission by NASA to the International Space Station was observed by the amateur radio enthusiasts and photographs of Atlantis undocking from the International Space Station can be viewed on the Amateur Satellite Radio Corporate website.

Ecommerce ensuring delivery

In the early days of ecommerce it was more likely that you would have direct interaction with an online business. Before the advent of shopping carts and online credit card transactions you might have been advised to call the online business phone number and place your order over the phone. Packages may have arrived with a hand written mailer and a note of thanks enclosed. As a customer you might have even been saddled with the task of sending a check and then waiting for the product to arrive once payment cleared the bank.

As ecommerce business has expanded, so too have the methods of payment. With the payment issues moving toward an automated accounting system we have seen the fulfillment of orders move toward a more automated function as well.

This is the typical order of product fulfillment with major online companies today.

1) Product ordered through online store using standard shopping cart.

2) Autoresponder used to confirm order placement and payment information.

3) Order added to a fulfillment database.

4) Autoresponder used to alert customer to the successful shipping of the product.

5) Tracking information provided to allow customer to follow the delivery of their product.

There may still be room for human error, however this type of product fulfillment takes into account the needs of the consumer, the advantages of current technology and a more efficient means of follow through with customers.

Defining your shipping policy in your Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section may be a very positive way to help customers know what to expect from your ecommerce store.

It could be your online store provides customized gifts or services that may find benefit from personal interaction with your clients. In some cases it may be wise to adopt a positive human touch when working with your clients. However, as your business grows you may discover it is time consuming to keep up with every order personally. This is when a more automated delivery system may be in order.

Customer service is a prized component to any ecommerce business. If a customer has to remind you to make a delivery it is possible you have lost that individual as a customer.

I had a situation where a software product was ordered, but was not delivered. The company found the information, discovered the shipping error, and sent the product to me overnight and added bonus software. Their response to the issue was what allowed me to feel comfortable returning to their ecommerce store for additional software purchases.

If you make a mistake – make it right – make it better than right – and do it quickly. A reputation is hard to gain and easily lost.

10 killer ways to make your online testimonials more

1. PICTURES

Ask people if they would e-mail a picture with their testimonial. If they don't have one scanned you could have them send their picture by mail and you could scan it. This technique will give your testimonials more credibility.

2. ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES

Most online testimonials you see have text signatures. You could have people mail their written signature, scan it, and upload it with their testimonial. People will feel the testimonial is more official.

3. ONLINE AUDIO

You could record people's testimonials with a mini tape recorder over the phone, on your answering machine, or voice mail. Then you could convert the recording into a online audio file and upload it to your web site. You can find more information about converting audio recording's by typing "real audio" at a search engine.

4. POSTCARDS

Have people mail you their testimonial on a postcard, scan it and upload it to your web site. This will give people proof that the testimonial isn't fake because it will have a post mark on it.

5. PROFILES

Ask people to include a profile of themselves with their testimonial. You could just have them answer some questions like age, occupation, hobbies, favorite quote, etc. This will make your testimonials more entertaining to read.

6. HAND WRITTEN LETTERS

This is similar to the "electronic signature" tip. Scan and upload the entire written testimonial or letter to your web site. This will give your testimonials a feel of realism.

7. RECORDINGS

You could record peoples testimonials over the phone with a mini tape recorder. Then, take the recording and record it to an answering machine or voice mail system. Under each one, include a phone number they can call to hear the actual testimonial.

8. E-MAIL MESSAGES

When you get e-mail testimonials, publish the entire e-mail message instead of just the contents. It will be more believable because it will include the date, time, subject, who it's from and who it's to.

9. CONTACT INFORMATION

When you get testimonials from people, ask them if you could include their contact information under the testimonial. This will allow potential customers to ask your current customers questions about your product or service before they buy. Usually, they will trust them more than you.

10. ONLINE VIDEO

If some of the people who give you testimonials have a camcorder, ask them to record their testimonial on video and send it to you. Then you could convert the video to an online video file and upload it to your site. You can find more information about converting audio recording's by typing "real video" at a search engine.

When auto sales sail

Back in the day when a person needed a new car, he would peruse the classified ads in the paper and maybe mosey down to the local dealership to kick a few tires. My, how times have changed. Today, the same car buyer needs to only turn on his computer, and in a matter of minutes he has a fat selection of Buicks, Toyotas, and BMWs at his disposal. Online car sales have created a unique business opportunity for the average Joe in love with four-wheeled transportation.

When the internet began, many saw it as a way for fast communication. Little did we know how much it would change our world. Today a motorcycle sells every 18 minutes on the popular auction site eBay. An SUV will go every 30 minutes through the same site. Millions of dollars worth of metal and engine parts exchange hands virtually every single day, and those who love cars are understanding the possibilities of this unique business opportunity. They purchase a car locally, assess its value, maybe tune it up a bit, and then turn to the world as their buyer.

Several sites exist that allow a car owner to sell besides eBay. Specific sites just for cars allow millions of internet users to peruse a lot of thousands. Additionally, brand-specific sites will narrow the choices for the purists that love a specific kind of car. German made, Japanese made, and American made-it doesn't matter as a site exists for nearly any kind of car. And as a result, those with Grandma's Studebaker sitting in the garage no longer have to sign because the neighbors do not understand its true monetary value. They will find the perfect buyer and thus can turn more than a marginal profit.

This unique business opportunity has the potential to allow a car love to combine his passion with a genuine job. If gets good at it, he will eventually find himself a way to earn some extra cash. He can attend estate auctions or even purchase vehicles from local dealers and then sell them online for a profit.

Obviously this kind of opportunity does not work for those with only a few dollars to invest. It requires some significant finances because cars do not come cheap, but those who love cars and can afford the investment will quickly find themselves sucked into the world of online automobile sales.

In the end, the internet offers a much broader market than we could ever imagine. It also offers more risks. Those engaging in this activity must make their deals cautiously. They should check out the websites they are using and investigate what type of money transactions they do and do not allow. Money orders and PayPal often are the most reliable forms of payment. With this kind of money exchanging hands, a seller should exercise caution.

Thus we can see that those who love cars can find a unique business opportunity in online car sales. If they have the cash needed to finance their operation, they will soon find themselves engaging in conversations with people across the country, and they may even find a new car that they love so much they will not let it go.

Finding coupons

If you are looking for the best deals on groceries, eating out, dresses, shoes or any other purchases as a costing method, coupons are the simple way to achieve that. But, where do you find these coupons? Well, they are every where; it is not difficult to find them.

Sunday newspapers are the best sources for finding coupons. One can find the coupon clippings attached in the advertisements. Besides, there are other ways to get coupons like swapping coupons with friends and relatives, calling manufacturers in toll free numbers to request coupons are some of the ideals ways to locate coupons and of course, online sources.

Another way to find coupons is buying the entertainment coupon book which is available in most towns. Sometimes local youth groups offer their own book of coupons. Junk mail which we often throw out without looking at it may have a bunch of coupons. Generally, they are booklet forms with lots of offers. Phone books have their own coupon sections. Oil changes and Pizza coupons are the most common offers in these sections. They save a significant amount and are updated frequently.

Online coupons have given a new dimension to saving money, and many people have realized that how easy it was to find them and use them. One way to find online coupons is to simply use a search engine and search for online coupons for the product that you are considering to buy. It will take you to several sites which offer various types of coupons.

There are plenty of places to find coupons over the Internet. Many of them do not charge any thing, but some sites do charge some nominal fee for sending bunch of coupons. Many websites offer discount codes for online shopping, as well as printable coupons that can be used while shopping at stores. Many t retailers also offer online discounts, so it really makes sense to search for those coupon codes before doing any online shopping. Some restaurants periodically send coupons online for the people who complete the sign-up process on their websites. Few local restaurants send coupons online for those who sign-up for their frequent diner programs.

Finding decent printable grocery coupons online may be extremely frustrating. Some of the websites are touted as good spots to find grocery coupons online, but they offer limited selection options and ask lot of personal information about you. Some leading brands offer coupons online, but they do need personal information while sign up. It is also important to make sure that the local grocery store accepts such coupons.

How crm software can help your business

Nowadays, almost every business has caught onto the fact that CRM Software is a must. It doesn't matter if you're big or small, your salespeople need to keep track of leads and you need reporting that will give you answers to questions that drive your sales. But with so many options available, which features should you look for to really fit with your business' goals.

The first important thing is to answer whether or not you need a hosted solution. In the days of virtual employees, hosted solutions are sometimes the best way to go. The other benefit is that you don't need to fuss with installing the software on your own server and managing all the updates. With hosted solutions, its plug and play for the most part. However, there are some legitimate reasons to have software on your own server. In case you pick an open source solution and want to have your programmers make the program 'sing' and do what you need it to do. That is usually not possible with a hosted solution.

Another important consideration is deciding what type of CRM Tool you want. There are some that are more geared towards lead prospect management and there are others that are more of customer relationship. Lead management software programs are excellent for making sure that your salespeople are following sequential steps that management has laid out. Customer relationship management software typically keeps track of the contacts with a given customer and has more reporting features that might be helpful to management.

Whatever way you choose, you want to make sure that you have researched all the options. With CRM Software being such a hot thing in the business community, there are a lot more smaller players that are doing some intersting things. Be sure to check out all your options.

Seo - google s sandbox is a myth

The “Google Sandbox” argument has been around for a very long time; it is much loved and loathed by many people trying to do Search Engine Optimisation.

The truth of the matter is Google’s Sandbox does not exist.

People doing SEO who refer back to the “sandbox” as a reason for websites not performing as they should are either naive or are dishonest.

I have recently tested the alleged “sandbox” theory on a number of sites and at every hurdle the sandbox theory failed.

In one particular test I registered a car insurance domain and slapped up a bunch of content. Now, anyone who has been in SEO circles for any amount of time will tell you that car insurance is a highly competitive industry and Google would have most certainly “sandboxed” the site.

However, four months later, the site is on the first page of Google’s search results for a highly competitive search term.

The site is also moving very quickly on an ultra competitive search term that should appear on the first page within a month or two.

Search Engine Optimisers who believe in the sandbox theory all too often blame their own poor performance for why the website is not ranking highly on Google.

Getting a site’s on-page optimisation right as well as building a sufficient quantity of relevant backlinks will get any site to rank well.

Google’s search algorithm can detect if a site has been selling links, this obviously will nullify the effect of the link.

Therefore, if you buy a whole lot of links, there is a chance that the majority of the links will not be passing page rank to your site and the links will probably be wasted.

Google’s also algorithm detects a number of other techniques that search engine spammers use to manipulate the results.

If you want to create a website that performs well in Google’s search engine results, create a site with lots of quality content and get relevant sites with a high page rank to back link to your site. It’s that easy.

Blogging for seo

If you’ve never heard the term SEO, let me explain briefly what it is, what it does and what it’s for.

SEO is the abbreviation for Search Engine Optimization. This is a web design technique that, when done effectively, draws positive attention from search engines. When your site is optimized for search engines you will discover that search engine users can find your web presence easier to locate when potential customers conduct their first online search.

When developing a site for SEO a web site owner needs to make sure they utilize a well researched keyword or key phrase that will be noticed by the search engine. The optimum number of times the keyword or phrase should be used is around 3-5%. If you use the term less it may not be noticed and if you use it much more it may be considered a spamming technique thus panelizing your site. You may also find that the content is hard to read if you insist on placing the keyword or phrase in locations that do not read naturally.

You’ll notice that the title of this article has to do with blogging. When you conduct a web search using various keywords or phrases you will often find blogs that are listed among the top ten for the phrase you chose. What this means is that if you develop a business blog to benefit your online business you should also work to ensure your core keyword or phrase is evident in your posts.

If you’re wondering why blogs might rank better than a standard business site it’s because blogs are updated more often than full websites. Search engines love to find new content so their interest in your site may be strong due to the new content you are making available. It is possible for a business blog to actually outperform a primary business website in terms of search engine rankings simply because there is more new information to consider and that often translates into improved trust and rank position. What this means is you may have more visitors to your blog than to your primary site. However this scenario is exactly why your business blog can be an important marketing tool for your primary site.

Here’s the equation…

Optimized blog + high search engine rankings = increased traffic to primary site

You just need to make sure that every blog post includes a reason for visitors to come to your primary site and you need to make sure a link is provided with every post on the profile page.

Did you know that when you blog for Search Engine Optimization you are also working to improve the overall traffic flow to your primary site? You do that by consistently blogging with a laser focus utilizing a very specific keyword or phrase.

Consider your business blog a funnel that helps direct the curious to a better answer to the questions they have about the very search term they used to find you. In other words, make it easy to find your site – and visitors will.

Entrepreneurship a leap of faith

Entrepreneurship is a multifaceted adventure that, without a doubt, closely resembles a roller coaster ride. When you begin an entrepreneurial journey or “ride,” you are aware of the gamut of experiences, both disappointing and rewarding, that you will encounter as you undertake this challenge.

Entrepreneurial challenges are not unlike most challenges in life. Hard work, long hours, and anxious moments are just a few of the characteristics of the journey to most successful outcomes.

Reoccurring questions often roam the business mind, and---although they may be phrased in a variety of ways---are basically centered on these four primary issues: more sales, more cash, more time, and more of the “right” people.

Starting your own business is an undertaking that requires more than vision, inspiration, sweat equity, money and determination. It is a leap of faith that demands that you let go of everything that is safe, comfortable, and proven. It is getting “outside the box” in the biggest way possible.

Beginning a new business venture can be risky, dangerous, and harrowing. However, with the proper preparation, the appropriate knowledge, and the counsel of a mentor or a trusted advisor, it can be a liberating and an extremely rewarding experience.

There’s a reason why many of America’s most successful people are entrepreneurs who started their own business and then saw them take off to unimaginable heights. There’s a reason why the Horatio Algers of the world continue to inspire thousands of entrepreneurs every day.

There is a reason why some of America’s greatest companies started with an idea, with meager seed capital, and with an individual who had a maniacal belief in the potential of an idea, and--- along with determination and perseverance--- saw it through to success.

However, for every success, there are hundreds of failures. The statistics are not only sobering, but downright frightening. More than half of all businesses started today will fail. The failure rate is astounding. Take a look at recent U. S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data, and this is what you will discover: After two years, across all sectors, 44 percent of all new businesses are no longer in business. After four years, 66 percent no longer exist. And, these survival rates don’t vary much by industry.

What do the statistics tell us? That most new businesses—whether they’re founded on the most brilliant idea since the theory of relativity or production of a mundane but exquisitely necessary manufacturing component—are making fatal mistakes that will ultimately lead them to bankruptcy. This much is certain. If more than half of all new ventures fail, there are lessons that are not being learned.

Video streaming programming to portadestrians

More than ever before in the history of the world we are a mobile society. Sadly, the dinner table has often been abandoned in favor of a drive-thru as we try to take in as much as we can in what little time we may have available.

While dad watches his son play baseball he can take phone calls, send and receive messages and event conduct a business transaction or two. Meanwhile, ‘Slugger’s” sister can be text messaging friends and watching video clips on her cell phone or sending pictures of her brother’s game to grandma.

I was on the phone once with a salesman for a product I really needed. As it turns out he was on a freeway in Dallas faxing me the specifications while emailing the parent company in Virginia – and passing a few cars.

While I don’t recommend his approach to highway safety I do understand that the delivery methods consumers expect have changed dramatically.

Video streaming is one of the most dramatic changes in content delivery. Where once you were tied to your home television, now many vehicles come equipped with DVD players. Many laptop computers also come with DVD players and burners. A Blackberry can allow you to do multiple tasks including making and receiving calls as well as Internet functionality. This makes it possible to watch video via a highly portable device.

New deals are routinely inked that allow video content to be delivered through sites like YouTube. A world that’s on the go can now go and still have access to what they want to see.

As a business owner you should work to harness this portability with content that can be consumed on the go. Video streaming is much more acceptable in the world of portadestrians (my name for them) than static text.

Amateur video still finds great favor with portadestrians if the content is compelling.

Pike’s Fish Market in Seattle is a fun place to visit, however, if you simply want to view the fun they are having at any given moment you can tap into their live web cam and experience a few minutes with flying fish.

The Internet has allowed the consumer to be in total control of what they want to see, when they want to see it and how they will download it.

If you’ve never considered video streaming the concept can seem a little overwhelming, but using video streaming can be a solid marketing tool used to entertain and inform potential customers.

Cold calling strategies for business newcomers

In running a business most of us at some point have to do some cold calling. Just these two words "cold calling" can strike fear into the heart of even the most determined entrepreneur.

So how can we make cold calling easier? Here are some tips that might help:

1. Who are you going to ask for?

Try and find out the name of the person you want to speak to before you pick up the phone. There is nothing worse than saying "Can I speak to the manager?" Immediately the secretary knows that this might be sales call.

How do you do this? There are many websites and publications that actually tell you the size of the company and who the boss is. Your local chamber of commerce might be able to help with this regard. Attending networking meetings is another way to find out who the decision makers are.

2. Learn more about your target.

Get to know a little bit about the business before you call them. This way when you speak for the first time with somebody new you have some common ground.

3. Talk to your existing customer base

Talk to your customers and any business people you are friends and ask for help. Many will be happy to give you referrals and a few might even make the initial call for you!

4. Make friends with other sales people

Make friends with sales people and share information and contacts. This will work great as long you are not selling identical products and competing with each other! You can make the initial introduction call for your friend and they can do the same for you.

5. Make friends with other business owners

Especially with businesses that have a lot of sales people. This works on the basis "I scratch your back, you scratch mine." You can share referrals and help each other.

6. Practise makes perfect…

The more calls you do the better you will become. Reward yourself with a point every time someone says "no" to you. Once you hit ten points it is time to stop for a break.

7. I do not care how good you are...

Nobody can cold call for a full 8 hours without getting absolutely shattered. It is far better to spend say three hours every day cold calling than to dedicate one day a week to this task. Choose the time of the day you are at your best. Some people are great in the mornings whilst others perform better in the afternoons.

8. Buy a decent headset.

This will enable you to make notes whilst you are the phone, stop your neck getting sore and even allow you to carry on a little longer when you are on a roll. Work like a pro and get professional results.

9. Send a thank you note.

Building relationships with existing customers and people who did give you the time of day is what it is all about.

10. Change anxiety into something positive.

Learn to turn your feelings of dread into something more powerful. Actors can turn stage fright into something positive that makes them perform better on a live stage and so can you.

11. If all else fails…

Then employ someone else to do it for you. If your time is better spent converting people who have already agreed to meet you then pay a telemarketing company to make your cold calls.

If you can start enjoying talking to new people and stop taking "no" as a personal insult then you are on your way. Tell little jokes and one liners and have a laugh at the same time as trying to make that appointment. You are allowed to have fun when you are cold calling!

Not only are there plenty of website advertising techniques, but each new technique is becoming more creative than the last. To give you an idea of what these website advertising tools are, and how they help, here’s a run-through of the most widely used website advertising techniques.

The first well-known web advertising technique is to use the free advertising sites and classified ads sites. These websites are where webmasters can post ads and links to their sites. Online classified ads work just like the newspaper classified ads. People who are specifically looking for something, especially in terms of products or services, usually go to these sites to search. Thus, this technique brings, not just traffic, but targeted traffic to your site. Another website advertising technique is listing your site up in web and directory listings. This will also help generate more targeted traffic to your site, the same way that classified ad sites do.

Website advertising also requires creativity. You can post your ads everywhere on the Internet, as long as you think it will be seen by your target audience. You can submit articles to e-zines and article directories, especially if you are selling or providing information. You can also post ads in forums, which hits two birds with one stone. This drives more direct traffic to your site, but also increases your page ranking since search engines also use forums and discussion boards in their results.

Aside from posting in forums, people who seem to have dedicated their time to website advertising have found more creative and unique ways to further promote their sites. They make use of practically all available resources, even Spam mail, to distribute the link to their website to as many people as possible.

However, no matter where you place the links or the ads, how you compose and create them is still a determining factor whether they will get noticed or ignored. There are different types of web ads such as banners, icons, and the like. The secret is to create ads that attracts attention, but in a good way. In creating an ad, think about the people you are trying to reach. Links, on the other hand, are effectively backed up by a well-written resource box.

Website advertising is not limited to the techniques and tools mentioned here. It can well pass for a world of its own. The boundaries in website advertising is very vague, so this means that as a website owner, the opportunities, techniques, and tools to advertise your site and drive traffic to it are endless.

Adwords killer review my adwords killer case study

Adwords Killer is another very popular Adwords guide that hit the market recently. This is my unbiased and critical Adwords Killer Review that will tell you exactly what you will find inside - and what you won't.

Unless you have been living under a rock you know that there are dozes of Adwords Guides out there. All of them promise you that you can make a fortune. What I don't like is that you keep reading the same stuff over and over - sometimes basics that you could get for free on the tutorial pages of Google Adwords.

Other Adwords books that I had previously bought include Google Cash, Adwords Miracle, Affiliate Project X, Day job killer, Adwordelite and The Definitive Guide to Google Adwords by Perry Marshall. If you add up the price for all of them you know I spent a lot of money.

So my million dollar question really is: Does Adwords Killer offer any new tricks or strategies that you haven't seen yet in any other guides or is it just the usual stuff (Split-testing ads, Tight ad-grouping etc.)?

Adwords Killer has 81 pages and it does cover some of the basics, but the major part of the guide consists of new and innovative tactics that cannot be found in other books. Maybe that's because the other authors preferred to keep those tricks for themselves – maybe it is because they were not aware of them. I don't know.

So what does Adwords Killer cover what other Adwords Guides don't?

Negative Keywords

This is one of the highlights of the book. Everybody tells you to include the negative keyword – free in your ads. Adwords Killer goes far beyond that. The author gives you a comprehensive list of 47 negative keywords that have statistically proven to make campaigns unprofitable. Most of them I had never considered. But once you think about it – it seems so obvious. He also tells you exactly when and how to use negative keywords and how to avoid a common mistake many people make when using negative keyword phrases consisting of more than one word.

Campaign Tuning

Campaign Tuning means you constantly improve your campaigns to make them better and more profitable over time. This is something that others don't mention at all – although the very popular Adwords Miracle does tell you a little about campaign tuning but not enough.

Adwords Killer tells you how to use advanced keyword tracking using log files – which only applies if you have your own landing page - and how to know if a campaign has reached its maximum profit potential. This is something that really made me totally turn around some of my campaigns. One of my campaigns that was losing money before now makes $25 each and every day.

CPC Kill Technique for Campaign Defense

Recently certain Adwords products have started to show you how to nuke or steal other people's campaigns. Adwords Killer is the first guide to show you how to protect an evil advertiser from stealing your keywords and attacking your campaign. This will become more and more important since too many advertisers out there just try to spot a profitable niche and then just copy your ad. The CPC Kill Technique tells you exactly how to keep other advertisers out of a niche that you have occupied and that you want to keep it for yourself.

Site Targeting Secrets

This was completely new for me. I must admit that I had always switched off the content network, like most of the other gurus said and focused only on keyword targeting. This section alone for me was worth the price of Adwords Killer many times over since it tells you exactly how to use the site targeting feature to make a $10 per day campaign into a 50$ per day campaign. The good thing: As with site targeting there is almost no competition out there yet, so up to this point this is easy money.

Bidding Secrets and Position Preference

Adwords Killer shows you a method to outbid any competitor only spending the minimum amount of cash. More important it shows you how to use the position preference feature from Adwords (rarely used by anyone) to maximize your conversions. Yes, I knew that it was no good to be in the number one position for a keyword, because you get too many people who click out of curiosity but don't buy. What surprised me was the exact position your ad should be in to get fewer clicks but much higher conversions.

I would recommend Adwords Killer if you are already a little familiar with Google Adwords and are looking for more powerful tactics to boost your profits or if you currently have some Adwords campaigns running that are unprofitable. If you are a total newbie, don't buy this book – if you are already familiar with Adwords – Adwords Killer will turn you into an experienced Adwords advertiser that 99% of other advertisers cannot compete with. Even if you are very experienced like I am Adwords Killer will have some tricks that you didn't know. Applying only one of them can pay the price of the book many times over.

The use of these advanced tactics is what can separate a winning campaign from a losing one and an affiliate marketer who makes some money from an Adwords Pro who makes a killing.

Honestly I would not want to compete in a niche with another advertiser who uses the tricks laid out in Adwords Killer. Get it here: adwordkiller. com

How to put microsoft crm into place in your business

No matter how big or how small your firm is, Microsoft’s Dynamic CRM software is right for you and your customer relationship management, as long as you know how to get it integrated with your business. The technological integration in and of itself is easy, but you need a strategy that will work for you, too.

First off, step back a little define for yourself what CRM—customer relationship management—means for your business in particular. Get “deep” with thinking about how you interact with your clientele. In fact you might even want to write up and send a questionnaire to your client base, asking them how they feel about their business relationship with your organization. Ask your employees, too, about how they feel with regards to the client-worker relationships that they maintain. Use the information that you glean to put together a clear vision of CRM at your company. Once you have this, delineate the vital importance of CRM to your employees. Give your staff clearly defined objectives to be met by your business, so that they have something to work with in their minds. Additionally, communicate your expectations and the objectives that you want the new CRM program, including the Microsoft Dynamics CRM aspect, to meet. Make it abundantly clear to your employees just how important your new CRM initiative is to the growth and profitability of your business. The CRM initiative needs to be a high-profile vision within your company.

Next, consider that a successful implementation of Microsoft’s Dynamic CRM software will be able to define your company’s business processes. You need to select the right CRM platform to use, true; but then again that is only one piece of the puzzle. Focus on the overall vision, the entire process. Don’t let yourself get caught up in all of the specialized tools and modules that the software comes with. Don’t be the nail; be the hammer. The tool should not be driving your business; you and your employees should be doing that. What are the best ways that you have always been able to work with your clients? Keep to those ways and let the CRM technology enhance your efforts along those very same lines. And, don’t leave out any aspect or part of your business when it comes to implementation. Don’t give the CRM technology only to certain areas of your business. You want seamless integration and a holistic approach in order to make the initiative a success.

How to blog from your own website

If you know how to blog from your own website then you will have many options open to you in the design and functionality of your blog that are not available on a hosted blog.

You can use Blogger from blogger. com or Wordpress from wordpress. com. Each has its own peculiarities, benefits and disadvantages, such as the lack of trackback and categories on Blogger, and the relatively poor raw html editing facility on Wordpress. However, each has its fans and adherents, and those used to one or the other are generally loathe to changing. Neither, however, offers the wide range of options open to those that have chosen to run Wordpress or any other blogging software from their own webspace.

Those who use the hosted versions likely do so either because they have no need of the options that the uploaded software offers, and are happy operating a blog using the range of options offered by the blog host. Others might not have a website, and have no intentions of having one because they have no need for their own site. Many bloggers are not involved in internet marketing, and are not using their blogs to make money – not even Adsense revenue.

They enjoy blogging about the political issues of the day, the latest movies and even just their everyday lives. Others, however, use blogs professionally as part of their business, and a blog is a great medium for advertising a business or a product. It is an ideal way of linking several websites that have been designed to sell different products, and even cover different niches. This is not easy to do without a blog, since search engines such as Google frown on adverts on one website for anther site offering information on a totally different topic.

What is regarded as a lack of relevance in a website is diversity in a blog. So how do you go about running your blog from your own website? Wordpress. org offers free software that you can upload to your own web space. The best way to do this is by use of an ftp client. This is software that allows you transfer files and folders from your hard drive to your website. It can also be used to transfer files from one website to another.

Upload facilities on websites allow you only to upload files, not folders or directories. Without an ftp client, you would have to create folders identical to those containing the Wordpress files. You would then have to upload each file individually, while maintaining the original directory structure. This can take some time to do, and errors are easy to make. Your first steps, then, are to download the blogging software to your hard disk, then ftp it to your website. When doing this, your ftp software will also allow you to change file permissions as detailed in the blog set up instructions. You will also have to use a text editor to change the contents of a few files, but this is fairly simple to do.

You then have to create a MySQL database for your blog. MySQL is a powerful Open Source Software database management system that uses SQL (structured query language) that most normal web hosting services offer free on your web space. The database is easy to set up by following the instructions that will likely be provided by your web host.

After that you are all set. You can use the default page template that comes with Wordpress, but you now have complete flexibility in the look and feel of your blog. You can upload any of the thousands of free or paid templates available online, and also any of the plugins that you want to use. You can edit all of the template elements you want to completely customize them, including the stylesheet for the whole page, the header, footer, sidebars and so on. You can add graphics, Adsense blocks, affiliate links and even offer your own products for sale.

Plugins are software elements that provide specific resources to your blog. Examples are calendars, anti-spam filters, RSS feeds, sitemap generators, tag systems and so on. There are thousands of them that can be used to totally customize your blog.

If you have your own website and business, then a blog can be a very dangerous thing. It can become so addictive that you can find yourself neglecting your website and business and spending all your time blogging and trying out various plugins, templates and themes.

Knowing how to blog from your blog from own website can be very useful, but make sure that you budget your time on it. A blog is a great thing, but very addictive.

Buying a fairly used instrument

People sometimes end up in hardship or they are simply tired or bored with a particular instrument and will want to get rid of them. On the other hand some people simply sell because that device has developed a fault. So you must be on the alert. There is no doubt that acquiring one in a situation where the owner is bored with it or where he is plunged in hardship is a rewarding venture. You thus can acquire a very good quality instrument at little or no cost. If you think you must buy a used instrument, these salient points might be of help to you.

The first thing is to know who has previously been in possession of that instrument. Try as much as possible to buy from the previous owner directly. An honest dealer will make known to you why he is giving it away, how long and how frequent it has been used. This information will help you to know the state of affairs of the good.

Look carefully for any form of alteration, modification or repairs of that item. Modifications tend to alter and lower the quality and even the appearance of the item. A dealer can easily modify and polish the item to make it seem new. Critically inspect the writings and other engravings on it, especially if the body work is of wood. When the instrument has been modified or polish several times, most of the writings and other engravings will look worn out. If you cannot notice it, seek the help of someone who has extensive knowledge on the item you intend to buy. Also make sure that the mechanism of the instrument has not been tampered with. Check the position of keys, pads, strings etc. Do not buy in case you realize any abnormality.

Play the instrument over and over to determine the quality of the tune. Make a proposition to test the instrument for a few days before making payment. With these you will assess the quality and durability. You may also want the repairer to make an evaluation of the instrument.

The cost price of a used item should be far below the initial cost. Make an investigation of the price of a new one and compare it with the price being offered. Do eye shopping on two or more shops. Assess the price in relation to the age of the item. If you take into consideration that the product has stood a test of time, the price should be reasonable. However, it is advisable not to buy it if the price is about three quarters of that of a new one. What you save will not be significant. Express great doubts if the item costs extremely low, except the seller is in great financial hardship. It might be a stolen item.

One advantage in buying a used musical instrument is that upon payment of cash, you get hold of your instrument instantly. With new instruments, you will more often than not have to place orders and these will take a lot of time to mature. In the case of a used instrument, you will have to test it over and over to ensure that it conforms to your taste. With a lot of waiting till delivery, it is possible that a new device may no more be the same as was tested. A new product might have compelled your taste and likeness of the product to change.
